Footballscoop.com is reporting that Lenoir-Rhyne head coach Mike Houston has now formally accepted the new head coaching position at The Citadel.

And footballscoop.com is also reporting that four coaches will have final interviews for the vacant head-coaching job at Georgia Southern. Among the finalists is Mike Ayers of Wofford College.

Ayers has been at Wofford since 1988 and he's won 171 games. He led the Terriers to four Southern Conference championships (2003, 2007, 2010, 2012), and he was named SoCon Coach of the Year five times (2000, 2002, 2003, 2007, 2010). Ayers won the Eddie Robinson National Coach of the Year Award in 2003.
