|Richardson Leads Guilford To 9-0 Start|

Zeb Richardson, who played at Ashe County High School, has Guilford College, a Division III school in Greensboro, N.C., off to a tremendous start.
The Quakers, ranked 17th in the nation in Division III, have won nine straight to start the season. Their only loss came against Coastal Carolina, a Division I school from the Big South Conference, in an exhibition game. The Quakers are also in first place with a 3-0 in the Old Dominion Athletic Conference.
Richardson, who moved back into the starting lineup on December 17, recorded a double-double with 15 points and 12 rebounds, including a game-high five offensive boards in an 84-78 win against North Carolina Wesleyan. He had a nine point, nine rebound effort against Methodist on December 14; and he had 16 points, nine rebounds and four blocks against Shenandoah on December 7.
The Quakers will play in the Coaches Classic in Ashland, Va., Saturday and Sunday. Guilford will play Dickinson College on Saturday, Dec. 28 and then Birmingham Southern the very next day to wrap up the schedule of 2013 games.
Richardson is averaging 9.9 points and 5.7 rebounds a game this season. He's played in all nine games for the Quakers, including two starts. Richardson is averaging 23-minutes a game, he's shooting 51% from the floor, but only 56% from the foul line.
