The WHS girls were led by Alison Seramur, who captured her second victory of the season in the girl's pole vault. Seramur, a senior, also set a meet record as she cleared the bar with an effort of ten feet. The old mark was nine feet.

The WHS girls had four top-five finishers. Savanna Randle finished second in the 55-meter run (7.73 seconds), Grace Plyler finished third in the girl's 300-meter run (46.2), and the girl's 4x800-meter relay team finished third in 11:35.97.

The WHS boys produced 11 top-five finishes on Monday. Matthew Hall led the way with a second-place finish in the high jump (5-8) and a third place finish in the pole vault (10-0).

Matt Osborne finished second in the boy's 1,600 (4:53.43) and the Pioneers produced a second-place finish in the 4x800 relay (9:03.76). That group was three second behind Ragsdale, which won the event in 9:00.74.
