L-R Women Ranked No. 22 In Final D-II Poll PDF Print

The Lenoir-Rhyne University Women's Soccer Team is ranked No. 22 in the final 2013 NSCAA/Continental Tire NCAA Division II Top 25 Poll of the year.

 

NSCAA is the National Soccer Coaches Association of America.

 

The Bears ended the year with a 14-4-2 overall record including a 9-1-1 mark in the South Atlantic Conference en route to their fourth consecutive regular season title.

 

Lenoir-Rhyne also earned a postseason berth for the fourth straight year and hosted the NCAA Division II Southeast Regional Tournament this fall. The Bears have posted a 66-11-7 mark over the past four years as well.

 

Wingate (eighth) is the only other South Atlantic Conference school ranked in the final national poll.

 

Grand Valley State, the 2013 NCAA Division II Women's Soccer National Champions, finished the year as the top-ranked team in the country.
