Watauga JV Girls Win Tournament. PDF Print

The Watauga High girl's junior varsity basketball team won the Miller Insurance/Dr. Pepper Invitational Saturday night.

 

 

 

WHS (3-0) defeated Avery 33-29 in the finals. Karson Hamrick and Holly Greene led the way with nine point apiece. The Pioneers defeated West Wilkes 42-23 in the opening round Friday night. Karson Hamrick led WHS with ten points in that game; Alina Kosmala, Alli Brown and Holly Greene each had six points apeice.

 

Olivia Williamson, Greene and Hamrick were named to the all-tournament team; Hamrick was named the Most Valuable Player.
