Denver Broncos coach John Fox, who had heart surgery on November 4 is leaving for Colorado Wednesday. He will be flown to Denver on a private jet provided by the team.

John Fox, who has been resting in his offseason home in Charlotte, N.C., will come back to the state of Colorado this week. It's unknown at this time when he'll rejoin the organization. Fox coached the Carolina Panthers from 2002-2010 (73-71 record with the Panthers) and led them to Super Bowl XXXVIII in 2003 against the New England Patriots. The Patriots defeated Carolina, 32-29.

The Broncos are tied with the Kansas City Chiefs for first place in the AFC West. The Broncos play at Kansas City Sunday in a nationally televised game on CBS.
