|Pifer Makes Brevard Debut|

Jake Pifer, who played at Watauga High School, made his debut with Brevard College, Division II school in Brevard, N.C., Wednesday night in a non-conference game against Lees-McRae College.
Pifer, who was in the starting lineup, played 33 minutes and scored 11 points. He was 4-7 from the field and 3-5 at the free-throw line. Pifer, who graduated from WHS in the spring of 2012, was a three-year varsity player and a two-year starter for the Pioneers. Pifer, a guard/forward with the Tornadoes was a two-time all-conference selection at WHS.
He played at Wallace State Community College in Hanceville, AL., last season. He played 19 minutes in an exhibition game against Wake Forest on November 1 and only scored one point. He was 0-3 from the field; he had six points in 29 minutes in a pre-season game against UNC-Asheville on November 4.
