|ASU Women Finish Sixth at Winthrop|

Appalachian State University women’s golf finished its fall season with the final round of play at the Winthrop Intercollegiate on Sunday afternoon.
The Mountaineers carded a second round 335 after first round score of 330. Boise State won the tournament with a two day total of 625 which topped host Winthrop by just two strokes.
Emily Stinson (Charlotte, N.C./Ardrey Kell) led the Mountaineers over the course of both days with a total of 161 to finish 17-over-par and tied for 11th. Hannah Craver (Winston-Salem, N.C./Reagan) came in a tie for 17th with a 163 for both rounds to end with a 19-over-par. In a tie for 26th was Haley Zagoria (Atlanta, Ga./Woodward Academy) who finished with a 167 and was 23-over-par. Madalyn Davis (Marion, N.C./McDowell) was tied for 38th overall and shot a 174 to finish 30-over-par. Lily Yatawara (Salisbury, N.C./Salisbury) finished in a tie for 38th with a two round total of 179 which was good for 35-over-par.
Appalachian is finished with its fall season with the conclusion of the Winthrop Intercollegiate and will open its championship season in the Spring.
