Smith dished out a game-high nine assists to go along with three steals, while Moore and Darryl Bond (Nashville, Tenn.) each chipped in five boards.

Kayel Locke paced the Spartans with a game-high 30 points, connecting on 12-of-17 shots from the field, as Kyle Cain added a double-double with 14 markers and a contest-best 11 boards. Tevon Saddler and Nicholas Paulos chipped in 16 and 14 points, respectively, while Saddler posted a game-high five steals. Tyrone Outlaw tallied 13 points in 17 minutes off the bench.

The Spartans jumped out to a 15-2 lead before the Bobcats responded, cutting the margin to 15-8 with a 6-0 spurt capped by a Chambers trey with 14 minutes left in the first half. Greensboro answered with an 11-2 run, pushing the advantage to 26-10 at the 10:45 mark.

The Bobcats kept pace with the Spartans for the remainder of the half, cutting the lead to 14 at 50-36 with a late lay-in by Moore heading into the break. Lees-McRae continued to play with intensity and grit throughout the second half, matching the Spartans basket for basket and only allowing the deficit to balloon by three points at the final media timeout. The Bobcats finished strong, scoring the final two baskets of the game with a pair of tallies by Chambers.

Lees-McRae opens the regular season on Saturday, November 9 when the Bobcats travel to Salisbury, N.C. to take on Catawba College in the Salisbury Roundball Classic at 8 p.m.
