One arrest was made, another man reportedly sought after shots were fired at three people—a man and two women—outside a Wilkesboro residence late Wednesday night.  No one was struck by the shots, but the three reported that they were involved in a dispute over a roommate kicked out of an apartment, a dispute that escalated to the shooting incident at about 10:25pm at the intersection of South and West Streets.  One of the women told police she had evicted one of the suspects from her apartment after accusing him of stealing from her, and she identified that man as the man who actually fired shots at the three. She also reported the man had been threatening her since his eviction. A witness told of seeing the incident, saying that a physical altercation occurred just after the shots were fired, then the two suspects fled on foot while others involved left in a car. After taking the report, Wilkesboro officers went to 103 East Street and arrested Christopher Lenihan, 24, for three counts of assault with a Deadly Weapon.  He was set $7500 bond. The second suspect, a 21-year old black male, was still being sought for a charge of Assault by Pointing a Gun.
