Pioneers Open Playoffs At Home Wednesday PDF Print

Watauga High Athletic Director Tom Wright has announced that the WHS soccer team will host Mooresville at 6pm on Wednesday evening at Jack Groce Stadium in the first round of the North Carolina

High School Athletic Association Class 4A state playoffs.

 

 

 

The Pioneers (16-5-1) are the No.1 seed from the Northwestern 3A/4A Conference. They made it to the Class 4A Western Regional semifinals last season. It was their first regional appearance since 1999.

 

The Pioneers are the No.6 seed overall; the Blue Devils (11-9-1), members of the Northern Piedmont 3A/4A Conference, are the No.27 seed overall.
