The Watauga High girl's tennis team had its second-round state dual playoff match against Ardrey Kell

rained out Tuesday in Charlotte. The teams will play the match today.



Meghan Smith and Kelsi Kanoy of the Pioneers will represent WHS at the North Carolina High School Athletic Association Class 4A state championships this weekend in Raleigh. Smith and Kanoy, who turned in a fourth-place finish at regionals on Monday, will play Anna Porcelli and Suzie Schoolfield of Wilmington-Laney in their first-round match Friday morning at the Millbrook Exchange Park.


The semifinals and finals will be played on Saturday.
