The Lenoir-Rhyne Men's Soccer Team (7-5-1) returned to its winning ways with a 3-0 victory over Mount Olive (2-11) Wednesday afternoon at the Moretz Sports - Athletic Complex.
L-R junior forward Tyree Clarke (Birmingham, ENGLAND) tallied a goal and an assist while freshman defender Josh Alderson (Formby, ENGLAND) added two assists as the Bears snapped a four-match winless streak.

Junior midfielder Ben Jones (Dagenham, ENGLAND) opened the scoring for the Bears in the seventh minute with his team-leading eighth goal of the season off a cross from Alderson.

Clarke gave Lenoir-Rhyne a 2-0 advantage with a goal on a give-and-go from Alderson at the 17:33 mark before junior midfielder Alex Mather (Nottingham, ENGLAND) rounded out the scoring for the Bears with just 1:21 remaining in the contest. The goals were also the first on the year for both Clarke and Mather as well.

Senior goalkeeper Stefan Dill (Southampton, BERMUDA) earned his fourth shutout on the season for the Bears, who held a 20-18 advantage in shots taken in the match. Mount Olive's Aleksandar Drobac (Ruma, SERBIA) suffered the loss in goal despite notching six saves on the afternoon.

Lenoir-Rhyne next faces Tusculum in a South Atlantic Conference match on Saturday night beginning at 7:30 p.m. Mount Olive takes on Erskine on the road Saturday at 4:30 p.m., in Due West, S.C.
