Investigators with the Avery County Sheriff’s Office are investigating the unattended death of a Burke County man, found on Roaring Creek Rd. Saturday morning.  Sixty Seven year old Toua Lo of Nebo was found in a wooded area by two hikers around 10:00am about forty feet from his truck parked near the end of Roaring Creek Rd. on Forest Service Land.  The two hikers, who happened to be a doctor and a physicians’ assistant, attempted CPR on Mr. Lo and called 911.  The release said that Lo was on a hunting trip to the area with friends, and earlier had notified friends that he was having chest pains and was returning his truck.
