|Pioneers To Host BBQ Fundraiser|

Jim Bob Norman, who played football and graduated from Watauga High School and was a member of three national championship teams at Appalachian State University (2005-07), will host a benefit bar-b-que
fund raiser in the main parking lot at WHS this afternoon from 4-6:30 p.m.
Proceeds from this fund raiser will benefit the New Song Misson Nicaragua. The cost is $8 for a plate of pulled pork BBQ, or $4 for a BBQ sandwich. There will also be a cornhole tournamnent from 5:30-7:30 p.m. You can register for the cornhole tournament between 4-5:30 p.m.
The entry fee for the 50-foot cornhole toss is $5 ($10 per team). The top three teams will get prizes. There will also be an unlimited kids' games, plus crafts, and a bake sale. Please come out and show your support for Jim Bob and his fund raiser. Then stick around and root on the Pioneers as they take on Freedom in a first-place showdown at Jack Groce Stadium beginning at 7:30 p.m. (coverage begins at 6:30 p.m. on AM 1450, WATA and GoBlueridge.net).
