|ASU Men's Golf Finishes Sixth|

Appalachian State University men’s golf concluded play at the John Telich Invitational on Tuesday afternoon. The Mountaineers finished in sixth place out of 13 teams carding an 873 as a team, which
includes a third round total of 287. The tournament hosted by Cleveland State University.
Patrick Moriarty led the Mountaineers finishing in a tie for ninth place individually after firing a third round 69 for a tournament total of 214. Close behind Moriarty was Casey Komline who shot a 72 on Tuesday and finished with a 217 for the tournament and a tie for 17th. Lee Mitchell finished 24th after shooting a 72 on the final day for a total of 217. Eric Eberspeaker shot a 74 in the third round for a 224 total and finished in a tie for 31st. Caleb Keck finished Tuesday’s final round tied for 52nd after firing a 77 for a tournament total of 231.
Playing as an individual for the Mountaineers John Michael Cole finished in a tie for 17th place after shooting a 72 for a total of 217 over the course of the two-day tournament.
The Mountaineers will be back in action starting Monday, October 14 at the Donald Ross Intercollegiate in Morganton, N.C. The tournament will span Monday and Tuesday and will be held at the Mimosa Hills Country Club.
