Lenoir-Rhyne University's Stefan Dill has been named the South Atlantic Conference Men's Soccer
Player Of The Week, league officials announced today. Dill, a senior goalkeeper from Southampton, BERMUDA, earned shutout wins last week for Lenoir-Rhyne over North Georgia (2-0) and fifth-ranked Wingate (1-0) on Wednesday and Sunday, respectively.
Dill stopped a pair of shots in the win over the Skyhawks at home before tallying three saves in the road victory against the Bulldogs.
L-R also won against Wingate on the road for the first time in seven years.
For the season, Dill leads the league in goals-against average (0.64) and save percentage (.833) to go along with 20 saves and three shutouts. Lenoir-Rhyne (5-1, 1-0) has won four straight matches and returns home to face Coker (2-1-1, 1-0-1) in a South Atlantic Conference match on Wednesday beginning at 7:30 p.m., at the Moretz Sports - Athletic Complex.
Lenoir-Rhyne, which is currently ranked eighth in the NSCAA/Continental Tire NCAA Division II Southeast Region Poll, will play seven of its next eight matches at home.
