Stolen Goods Sought After Break-In Arrest PDF Print

Caldwell Sheriff Alan C. Jones announces that a resident of Burke County has been arrested in Connection to a Breaking and Entering that occurred in the Oakhill Community.  Johnny Everett Setzer, age 42 was arrested on Wednesday, September 18th on McRary Place in Lenoir. The arrest was made in relation to a Breaking and Entering that occurred on the Morris Creek Road in the Oak Hill Community on Sunday, August 25th.  During the incident multiple firearms, jewelry, and electronics were taken from the home on the Morris Creek Road.  A lengthy investigation led investigators to the identity and location of Setzer. The investigation is still active at this time as all of the property stolen has not yet been recovered.  Investigators anticipate additional arrest to be made in this case.   Assistance from Surveillance Footage at the location of the Breaking and Entering assisted with this investigation.  If anyone has received property or has further information about this case please contact Detective M.H. Johnny Everette Setzer, age 42 of 2082 Hwy 70 Connelly Springs, NC has been Charged with:

Felony Breaking and Entering
Felony Larceny
Felony Possession of Stolen Property

Johnny Everette Setzer was placed in the Caldwell County Detention Center under a $50,000.00 secured bond.  Investigators will be seeking a Habitual Felon status related to this arrest.
