The Watauga High boy's soccer team remained unblemished on the season. And the Pioneers (6-0) also passed their first real test of the season Friday night with a 2-0 win against A.C. Reynolds (5-1) in a battle of unbeaten teams at Jack Groce Stadium.
The contest was also a rematch of last years second-round state playoff game. And WHS made it two straight against the Rockets.
Logan Raichle and Tucker Chasteen scored for WHS. It was Chasteen's 12th goal of the season. Justin Hall picked up two assists on the night. WHS won the junior varsity game by that same exact 2-0 score. David King and Powell Glidewell scored for the Pioneers. Gildewell also picked up an assist. Freddy Aguilera picked up on Glidewell's insurance goal.
WHS  travels to Ashe County next Thursday.
