Okam Leaves ASU PDF Print

Appalachian State men's basketball player Brian Okam has transferred to Winston-Salem State. Okam, a 7-foot-0 center from Nigeria, played at ASU for two seasons. He averaged 1.3 point and 2.2 rebounds a game during his stay with the Mountaineers. He played in 25 games for ASU. including ten last season.
Okam transferred to ASU after he played one season at Rutgers. He sat out his first season at App State after transferring from Rutgers because of NCAA transfer rules. He can play right away at Winston-Salem State since the Rams are Division II. Okam has one year of eligibility remaining.
