Pioneers Win Third Straight PDF Print

The Watuaga High boy's soccer team continued its winning ways Friday night with a 4-0 win at Avery. Tucker Chasteen, Canyon Mueller and Logan Raichle paced WHS (3-0) with a goal and an assist apiece. Chasteen tickled the twine at the 1:15 mark of the first half. Nick Kellner doubled the lead with a goal at the 15-minute mark,. Mueller picked up an assist on the play.
The Pioneers increased their lead on a goal by Raichle at the 35-minute mark of the first half.
Chase Palm, who joined the varisty from the junior varsity team Friday night, picked up an assist on WHS' final goal at the 65-minute mark of the second half. He found Mueller, who netted the Pioneers final goal.
The Pioneers travel to West Caldwell Monday night. The JV match begins at 5 p.m.; the varsity match begins at 6:30 p.m.
