Appalachian State University football wrapped up its 2013 fall camp on Monday morning with a two-hour-

and-15-minute workout inside the Sofield Indoor Practice Facility. The final practice before Appalachian State begins classes on Tuesday was held indoors due to heavy rain in the High Country.
After Saturday’s 93-play Fan Fest scrimmage, the Mountaineers wore full pads on Monday morning and had live contact at the line of scrimmage but utilized “thud” tackling as opposed to taking ball-carriers to the ground.
Appalachian will not practice on Tuesday to allow the Mountaineers to settle into academic year without any obligations outside of the classroom. When App State returns to practice on Wednesday, the focus will turn to game-specific preparations for the much-anticipated Aug. 31 season opener at Montana.
The close of fall camp also means the end of Fall Camp Reports at and on App State TV. However, for the latest news regarding the Mountaineers leading up to the opener at Montana and throughout the 2013 campaign, continue to visit and tune in to App State TV.
