The Cold Mountain Review is celebrating it’s 35th anniversary.

The literary journal based at the department of English at Appalachian State University will host a fundraiser gala at the Mariam and Robert Hayes Performing Arts Center in Blowing Rock. It’ll be this Friday evening from 6:30 to 9. The event marks the first of two celebrations commemorating CMR’s 35-year legacy. The fundraiser includes readings by co-founders and Appalachian alumni R.T. Smith and Donald Secreast. For more info go online to coldmountain.appstate.edu
