Appalachian State University football head coach Scott Satterfield will join a slew of other high-profile college coaches for the North Carolina Coaches for

Charity event on Tuesday, July 23 in Raleigh.
The event will take place at the Hilton North Raleigh/Midtown and features a pre-event reception, entertainment and silent auction beginning at 6 p.m. before a live auction, dinner and full program at 7 p.m.
Satterfield will be joined by five other head coaches including Duke's David Cutcliffe, NC State's Dave Doeren, Wake Forest's Jim Grobe, North Carolina's Larry Fedora and East Carolina's Ruffin McNeil.
Each coach will designate a charitable organization which will receive a grant from the Fisher DeBerry Foundation. The Foundation, which was started by former Appalachian State assistant coach, Air Force head coach and College Football Hall of Fame Inductee Fisher DeBerry, is a tax exempt, nonprofit organization dedicated to the support and education of single moms and their children, as well as other charitable causes.

Individual tickets and other sponsorships levels for the event can be purchased online at appstatesports.com, or by completing the paper registration form at appstatesports.com.
More information about the Fisher DeBerry Foundation, including ways to donate, can be found at appstatesports.com.
