Crouch,Pennel Pace Zap At National Championships PDF Print

Zap Fitness Foundation of Blowing Rock, N.C., has had a very busy summer, so

far. Zap had three athletes competing at the U.S.A. Outdoor Track & Field Championships at Drake University in Des Moines, IA. They also had two runners competing at the U.S. Championships in Duluth, MN.
Tyler Pennel paced Zap Fitness at the USAT&F Championships as he turned in a tenth-place finish in the men's 10,000-meter run. He finished the race in 29-minutes, 27.36 seconds. Cameron Bean finished 14th in the men's 3,000-meter steeplechase (9:01.90), and Mary Ballinger had a 23rd-place finish in the women's 3,000 steeplechase (10:30.71).
Sarah Crouch finished 12th in a half marathon at the U.S. Championbships. She finished the race in one hour, 13-minutes, 33-seconds; Esther Erb was 16th in 1:14.34.
