Lenoir-Rhyne's Dalton Hall has earned 2013 NCAA Division II ABCA/Rawlings Gold Glove First-Team honors for the Southeast Region. ABCA is the American Baseball Coaches Association. Hall, a senior shortstop from Hickory, N.C., compiled a .962 fielding percentage this season and was a Gold Glove honoree for the South Atlantic

Conference as well. Hall finished third on the team in batting average (.335) in 2013 to go along with two home runs, 29 runs batted in and a team-leading 20 doubles. In addition, Hall was second on the squad in runs scored (36), hits (63) and total bases (89) en route to All-SAC Second-Team accolades.
The gold glove winners are honored as the top defensive players in the region and are eligible for the national squad.
