300 gallons of fuel oil stolen PDF Print
Monday, 03 December 2007 08:51

Sometime between November 15 and November 24, someone stole 300 gallons of fuel oil from Tar Heel Mica on U.S. Highway 19 E, Sheriff Kevin Frye says.

Avery County Sheriff’s deputies are on the case and are asking for your help. If you saw a truck parked at Tar Heel Mica that might have looked suspicious, contact a detective at Avery County Sheriff’s Office, 828-733-2071. Frye predicts these types of thefts will continue as the cost of heating oil increases.
