A Lenoir Police investigation, aided by the State Bureau of Investigation and NC Internet Crimes against Children Task Force, has led to the arrest of a Lenoir man on child pornography counts. The investigators executed a search warrant at a Cedar Hills Apartment Friday after an internet based investigation indicated that Curtis Benjamin Kacludis was in possession of multiple images that depicted children acting in a lewd manner or involved in sex acts.  As a result of the search and computer seizure, interviews, and other information, Curtis Benjamin Kacludis was arrested on 3 counts each of Second Degree Sexual Exploitation of a Minor for Distribution and Third Degree Sexual Exploitation of a Minor for Possession.  He was placed in the Caldwell County Detention Center under $75,000 bond with a May 16th court date. Lenoir Chief Scott Brown said the joint investigation between demonstrates that the Lenoir Police Department is actively involved in the North Carolina ICAC Task Force to combat these types of crimes.  This investigation is ongoing and further charges are possible.
