Bobcats To Host Summer Camps PDF Print

The Lees-McRae College women's basketball program will host three separate camps this summer, offering warm weather activities and hands-on instruction

for a wide range of ages, announced head coach Michele Williams Tuesday.The Bobcats' summer camp schedule will begin with the Girls Basketball Team Camp on June 14 and 15, a day or residential camp open to all high school teams, both varsity and junior varsity. Paid officials will be present for all varsity games, and regulation time will be kept for all games.The cost of this camp is $150 for commuting teams playing three games, and $250 for commuting teams playing six games. The cost for teams staying overnight is $150 for three games or $250 for six games, plus a boarding fee of $80 per player.The Lil' Bobcat Girls Basketball Camp will follow on June 24 and 25, offering daily instruction in all facets of the game, as well as station work for girls in grades 3-6. The camp will run from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. each day. The cost of the camp is $50 per player, and includes a free T-Shirt.The Bobcats' camp schedule will culminate with the Bobcat Elite Girls Basketball Camp on June 26 and 27, offering daily instruction in all facets of the game, as well as position development. The camp is open to players in grades 7-12 and will run from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day.
