Stephan Curry, a member of the Golden State Warriors and who was an All-America at Davidson College, has continued his hot shooting touch in the

National Basketball Association.
Curry buried a pair of three-pointers against the Portland Trail Blazers on Wednesday night as he broke Ray Allen's single-season record for three-pointers made. Curry made 270 treys this season.
He broke Allen's mark of 269 (on a 41.2 percent mark and 3.4 per-game average) set in the 2005-06 season with the Seattle SuperSonics (now the Oklahoma City Thunder).
By comparison, Curry set the record with over 50 fewer attempts than Allen, shot a blazing 45.5 percent from beyond the arc and averaged 23.0 points per contest coming into the season finale versus Portland.  The Warriors, a No.6 seed in the Western Conference, open the NBA playoffs against the Denver Nuggets on Saturday.
