Graham, McNeil Pace Watauga At Mimosa PDF Print

The Watauga County Middle School boy's golf team officially opened its spring season Thursday at the Mimosa Hills & Country Club in Morganton, N.C. Watauga had a team score of 190 and finished in a

two-way tie for third place with Alexander County.
Burke County, playing on its home course, bested the four-team field with a 165. Caldwell County finished six shots back with a 171.
Clay Bollinger of Caldwell County was the leading medalist. He fired an even par 36 on the par 36 course. Rory McNeil and Alan Graham led the way for Watauga. They each fired a five over par 41, and finished six shots off the lead.
Jordan Austin of Watauga had a 50, Benjamin Critcher fired a 58. Watauga travels to the Lenior Golf Course for a match next Tuesday.
