There's no place like home. Just ask Chad Keller, who will return to the place where he began his high school coaching career. Keller has been named the

new head boys basketball coach at Hibriten High last Friday.
Keller is a Caldwell County native and a former basketball standout at West Caldwell. He replaces Roger Burgess, who stepped down as the Panthers coach in March after 10 years.
Keller, who is 76-116 during his eight-year coaching career, led the Panthers for three years from 1995-1998; he was 34-38 during his tenure, and he led them to a 16-10 record and the state playoffs in 1997-98.
Keller, who left the coaching profession, returned to the sidelines in the 2006-07. He spent one year at Patterson School in Lenoir, where he was 16-8. He was named the head boys coach at Patton High the following year.
He was 26-70 during his four-year stay at Patton. Keller stepped down after the 2010-11 season. Hibriten was 8-16 last season. The Panthers finished the season with a seven-game losing streak.
