L-R Men's Golf In Fifth Place At Rendleman Invite PDF Print

The Lenoir-Rhyne Men's Golf Team shot a 297 (+13) and stands in a fifth-place tie after round one Monday of the Richard Rendleman Invitational at the Country Club of Salisbury.


USC Aiken leads the tournament with 289 (+5) on the par-71, 6,665-yard course while the Pacers have the top individual in J.P. Solis, who carded a four-under 67. Lenoir-Rhyne's top two golfers are currently tied for third overall with a 70 (-1): junior Brandon Squier (Advance, N.C.) and sophomore Drew Alford (Statesville, N.C.).
L-R junior John White (Dudley Shoals, N.C.) is tied for 36th overall after finishing the first 18 holes with a 76 (+5) as well.
The second and final round of the tournament will take place on Tuesday

Ewing Tied For 33rd At Pirate Invitational

 

The Lenoir-Rhyne Women's Golf Team opened the 2013 spring season Monday at the Pirate Invitational at the Savannah Quarters Country Club. The tournament is hosted by Armstrong Atlantic State University.
After the first round of play, Armstrong Atlantic State leads with a 304 (+16) on the par-72, 5,914-yard course.
SCAD's Alazne Urizar is the top individual with a one-under 71 after 18 holes of play while Lenoir-Rhyne freshman Elizabeth Ewing (Greensboro, N.C.) is the Bears' No. 1 golfer so far.
Ewing shot an 84 (+12) to finish tied for 33rd overall after the first round of action.
L-R senior Megan Katsch (Wilmington, N.C.) tied for 50th with an 89 (+17) while freshman Temple Cook (Morganton, N.C.) carded a 111 (+39), good for a 72nd-place tie after Monday's action.
The second and final round of the tournament takes place on Tuesday.
