Due to continued rain and snow in the Raleigh-Durham area, Sunday's scheduled baseball doubleheader between Appalachian State and No. 8 NC State has been shortened to a single game beginning at 1 p.m. at Doak Field.

Appalachian State (1-0) defeated NC State (0-1), 6-3, on Friday in what was originally scheduled to be a three-game season-opening series. Snow washed out what was supposed to be the second game of the series on Saturday.
Live stats for Sunday's series finale will be available at GoASU.com.
