L-R jumped out to a 2-0 advantage with a pair of runs in the bottom of the first thanks to a run-scoring triple from junior third baseman Haily Jarman (Wadesboro, N.C.) and senior third baseman Jessica Fellmeth's (Waxhaw, N.C.) RBI single.
Mercyhurst tied the contest with two runs in the fifth including a solo home run from Allison Yule (Oswego, N.Y.) before winning the game in the sixth frame.
