WHS Matmen Continue To Struggle PDF Print

The Watauga High wrestling dropped three consecutive matches in three days. The Pioneers lost to Hibrirten, St. Stephens and Fred T. Foard. WHS remains winless in Northwestern 3A/4A Conference play with an 0-4 record. On the

bright side, the Pioneers picked up ten victories during their three-day stretch.
Demetre Kostis kept his record unblemished at 132 pounds with three wins in three days. Mark Townsend went 3-0 at 113 pounds; Gus Coffey was 2-1 at 120 pounds. Jake Page picked up a win at 160; Jeremy Critcher picked up a win at 195.
The Pioneers host Hickory Tuesday night at Lentz-Eggers Gym.
