Drummonds, Seramur, Kosmala Produce Top Five Finishes PDF Print

The Watauga High boys and girls track teams had a selected few competing at the NCRunners Elite Holiday Invitational hosted by R.J. Reynolds at the JDL Fast Track in Winston-Salem, N.C. And the Pioneers produced four place finishers.

Leading the way were WHS senior Taylor Drummonds, who improved on her distance in the pole vault, as she tied for third with an effort of ten feet; junior Alison Seramur finished in a fifth-place tie in the vault with an effort of nine feet.
Doria Kosmala turned in a fifth-place finish in the 1,600-meter run as she crossed the finish line in 5:31.95, and Madison Harman finished sixth in the 3,200 in 11:54.86. Michael Holland was the only representative for the boys team and he finished 11th in the 3,200 in 10:18.13.
