Former ASU Student Charged in Alabama Murder PDF Print

A former Appalachian Student is on suicide watch in Alabama after the murder of a 43-year old man. WSOC-TV is reporting that 21-year old Zachary Stirewalt was arrested after the incident last weekend. According to the Montgomery Adviser newspaper, 21-year-old Zachary Stirewalt shot and killed 43-year-old Daniel Turman , Police stating Turman offered Stirewalt a place to stay after finding out the Cary native had no place to live. Stirewalt attended Appalachian State University and was aspiring to be a commercial photographer. Few details of what led to the shooting have been released.
