Lenoir-Rhyne University's Brianna Belsky has been named a 2012 Daktronics NCAA Division II Honorable Mention Women's Soccer All-American. Belsky, a freshman defender from Egg

Harbour Township, N.J., also earned First-Team All-South Atlantic Conference and All-Southeast Region honors this year.
Belsky started all 20 matches for L-R in 2012 and anchored a back line for the Bears which limited their opponents to just 11 goals all year.  Lenoir-Rhyne also allowed just two goals against league foes all season and tallied 12 total shutouts.
Offensively, Belsky finished with three goals including two game-winners in addition to five assists and 11 total points on the season. Belsky helped lead Lenoir-Rhyne to a 16-2-2 overall mark this fall including a 9-0 record in conference play.
The Bears also won both the SAC Regular Season and Tournament Championships and earned a berth in the NCAA Division II Playoffs for the third straight year in 2012.
Sports information directors from NCAA Division II schools and conferences selected the three Daktronics All-America teams. The process begins at the regional level with all first-team all-region picks advancing to the national ballot.
This is the seventh year Daktronics has sponsored the NCAA Division II Women's Soccer All-America and all-region teams. A total of 59 student-athletes representing 30 different institutions filled out the three teams and the honorable mention squad.
The team is sponsored by Daktronics, Inc., an acknowledged world leader in scoring, timing and programmable display systems for virtually every sport at every level of competition.
The team is voted on by the NCAA Division II members of the College Sports Information Directors of America (D2SIDA). Tyler Lobe and Brandon Bronzan of the Sonoma State (Calif.) University Sports Information office assisted in the voting process.
