Woody Durham, the legendary voice of the North Carolina Tar Heels, will be at the Blowing Rock Art and History Museum next Tuesday to sign his latest book, "Woody Durham: A Tar Heel Voice".

Durham, a television sportscaster, became the “Voice of the Tar Heels” in 1971. And he held that position until he stepped down in 2011. Durham provided the play-by-play for more than 1,800 UNC basketball and football games.
Durham, who visited the museum last February, will sign copies of his book, which was written with Adam Lucas.  The book chronicles both Durham’s personal successes in broadcasting and the talented athletes he has covered during his career.  Durham will be signing copies of his book from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Nov. 13 at the Blowing Rock Art and History Museum.
