The Lenoir-Rhyne University Women's Soccer Team rose eight spots to No. 11 in this week's NSCAA/Continental Tire NCAA Division II Women's Soccer Top 25 national poll. NSCAA is the

National Soccer Coaches Association of America. L-R is 12-1-1 on the season after battling UNC Pembroke to a 2-2 tie on Monday afternoon on Senior Day at home. The tie has left the Bears at 9-0-1 in their last 10 matches.
Lenoir-Rhyne is also 8-0 in the South Atlantic Conference and has clinched at least a share of its third straight league title. L-R hits the road for its last two games of the 2012 regular season starting with a match against Montreat on Wednesday in Montreat, N.C., beginning at 3:00 p.m.
Lenoir-Rhyne then wraps up the regular season on Saturday afternoon against Anderson in a conference contest in Anderson, S.C., at 1:00 p.m.
A win against the Trojans will clinch the SAC Regular Season Championship outright for the second straight year for Lenoir-Rhyne.  The Bears have won 18 consecutive conference regular season contests dating back to 2010 as well. Minnesota State-Mankato is the top-ranked team once again in the national poll this week.
