A woman who fled the Boone Mall area with goods stolen from several stores was apprehended by Boone Police.  Late Tuesday afternoon, Boone Police were called to TJ Maxx after a woman fled with goods after stuffing them in a bag then fleeing from the store. With a vehicle description, the car was stopped on US 421 at Linville Creek Road, with two women and a man inside.  The woman then admitted to police the theft of goods from the Mall, and a search of the car turned up stolen goods not only from TJ Maxx, but from Belk and JC Penney.  The woman gave a name to police as she was being charged, but that turned out to be one of several aliases she is alleged to have used, and her real identification came back to Tammy Lynn Hodge of Vilas.  Her real ID turned up seven outstanding warrants from around the area, and the 39-year old Vilas woman was jailed on those and the new larceny counts from the Boone Mall thefts.
