The sixth-ranked Lenoir-Rhyne Women's Soccer Team (3-0) flexed its muscles with an overwhelming victory over Pfeiffer (1-2), 4-0, Wednesday evening at the Moretz Sports - Athletic Complex.

L-R freshman forward Leah Mullins (Kissimmee, Fla.) scored two goals for the second consecutive contest while the Bears held a 47-4 advantage in shots taken in the rout.
Mullins opened the scoring in the 16th minute when she kicked in a shot right over the Falcons' goalkeeper off a rebound shot from sophomore midfielder Lauren Donovan (Hollywood, Md.), who was credited with the assist.
L-R freshman midfielder Kendall Smith (Asheville, N.C.) made it 2-0 at the 26:00 minute mark after receiving a cross from senior midfielder Carley Griffin (Fresno, Calif.).
Lenoir-Rhyne added two more goals in the second half courtesy of Mullins and sophomore defender Hanna Kiebel (Parker, Colo.) to make it a 4-0 final. Mullins now leads the team in goals scored (four) and total points (nine) this year.
L-R senior goalkeeper Caitlin Scruggs (Torrance, Calif.) picked up the victory and her second shutout of the season while Pfeiffer's Britt Polly (Boca Raton, Fla.) suffered the loss in goal despite making 14 saves on the day.
Lenoir-Rhyne hosts No. 11 Columbus State in a regional showdown Sunday afternoon beginning at 1:00 p.m., while Pfeiffer plays at Queens on Saturday at 5:00 p.m., in Charlotte, N.C.
