The Lenoir-Rhyne Men's Soccer Team (1-0) tallied all three of its goals in the final 14 minutes of action en route to a 3-0 victory over King (Tenn.) (0-1) Thursday evening at the Moretz Sports - Athletic Complex. Three different players

scored for the Bears, who held a 29-9 advantage in shots taken in the shutout win.
L-R senior defender Joe Green (York, ENGLAND) broke the scoreless tie at the 76:47 mark of the second half after heading the ball into the net off a throw-in from junior midfielder Adam Crossingham (Sandpoint, Idaho). The Bears made it 2-0 just under three minutes later when freshman forward Tobias Tobrant (Boras, SWEDEN) won a battle right in front of
the net with the King goalkeeper for a loose ball and connected for the goal.
Senior defender Chris Johnson (Liverpool, ENGLAND) rounded out the scoring with a goal on a free kick in the 88th minute while junior goalkeeper Stefan Dill (Southampton, BERMUDA) picked up the victory for the Bears as he stopped three shots for the contest. King's Cameron Sauro (Owen Sound, Ontario, CANADA) suffered the loss in goal for the Tornados despite finishing with five saves on the evening.
Lenoir-Rhyne remains at home to face Limestone on Saturday beginning at 7:00 p.m., while King returns to Bristol, Tenn., to host Mars Hill Saturday at 5:00 p.m.
