Things are looking up for former Appalachian State University running back Travaris Cadet. A long shot to make the team after he signed a free-agent contract with the New Orleans Saints after he went undrafted, Cadet looks like a

strong possibility to make the team---at least right now. According to Saints quarterback Drew Brees, "Cadet is always in the right place."
Cadet leads the Saints with 14 receptions for 109 yards through two preseason games. He had quite a debut in the Hall of Fame Game in Canton, OH, on August 5. He caught eight passes for 80 yards and a touchdown in a 17-10 win agianst the Arizona Cardinals. The Saints (1-1) take on the Jacksonville Jaguars at the Mercerdes-Benz Superdome Friday night at 8 p.m. EDT.
