Blackmon Suffers Season-Ending Injury PDF Print

Appalachian State's Dante Blackmon (knee) will be out for the season due to an injury sustained during a non-contact drill last Sunday (August 5). Blackmon, a true freshman from Covington, Ga. (Eastside High), will redshirt in 2012

and retain four seasons of eligibility. Depending on his rehab progress and when spring practice is held in 2013, it is possible that he could return to action for spring practice. He is expected to be at 100 percent in plenty of time for fall camp in 2013.
