Kellin Deglan blasted a towering two-run homer in the bottom of the ninth handing the Hickory Crawdads a 6-5 walk-off win against the Asheville Tourists Wednesday night at L.P. Frans Stadium. It's the eighth time the 'Dads have posted a walk-off win this season (most in a season since 2005), and the win also pulls Hickory into a three-way tie for first place

with Hagerstown and West Virginia in the North Division of the South Atlantic League.  Taylor Featherston gave Asheville (25-21, 72-44) a 5-4 lead with a sacrifice fly in the top of the seventh, but the 'Dads (25-21; 61-54) rallied, thanks to Deglan's two-run shot. Drew Robinson, who was 2-4 with a run scored and a run-batted-in, led-off the ninth inning with a single setting the stage for Deglan's late-game heroics. Deglan was 3-4 and drove in two runs. Starting pitcher Will Lamb went six innings and gave up four earned runs. Lamb had four strikeouts, but he coughed up three home run balls. Jose Monegro (1-0) picked up the win with a scoreless inning of relief.
