The Lakewood BlueClaws defeated the Hickory Crawdads 4-3 at FirstEnergy Park in Lakewood on Saturday night. Trailing 3-2, Lakewood jumped on top with a pair of runs in the bottom of the sixth. Carlos Perdomo led-off the inning with a walk, and he scored all the way from first base on an RBI double by Kelly Dugan. Dugan advanced to third on a fly out

to center field, and he scored on Aaron Altherr's RBI single that gave the BlueClaws (25-43) a 4-3 lead. Gabriel Sanchez (2-3), who picked up the win in relief and Yari Sosa, who nailed down his first save of the year, combined for 4 1/3 scoreless innings and settled the issue for Lakewood.
Hickory rallied from an early 2-0 deficit with three runs in the top of the fifth.
