Jeremy Williams handed the Hickory crawdads (34-28) their third walk-off win in the last week. Williams had a game-winning, run-scoring single in the bottom of the ninth that gave the Crawdads a 4-3 win Sunday night against the Greenville Drive at L.P. Frans Stadium. With the game tied 3-3 in

the bottom of the ninth, Drew Robinson, who scored the game-winning run, led off the inning with a double to left-center field. Williams came up next and ripped a line drive base single into shallow center field that just eluded Henry Ramos of the Drive allowing Robinson scored easily from second base.
Will Lamb and Phil Klein held the Drive (31-31) in check after Greenville jumped out to an early 3-0 lead. Lamb and Klein, who picked up his fifth win of the year, tossed five scoreless innings allowing one hit with six strikeouts. That effort also allowed the Crawdads to stage a comeback. It also saved starting pitcher Nicholas Martinez, who coughed up three earned runs on six hits in four innings.
Startin pitcher Noe Ramirez tossed five perfect innings against the 'Dads. But Hickory finally broke through against relief pitcher Jason Garcia in the seventh. Robinson doubled and Williams bounced into a fielder's choice. But shortstop Jose Vinicio elected to throw Robinson out at third, but he misfired and that allowd Robinson to score Hickory's first run of the game.  Jorge Alfaro reached on another fielder's choice that failed to record an out; Williams and Alfaro completed a double steal to move them to third and second before Trever Adams tied up the game with a two-run single through the left side of the infield.
Robinson was 2-4 with a pair of doubles and he scored twice; Adams drove in a pair of runs.
