Tailwinds Results From Winston-Salem PDF Print

Tailwind Track & Field took six of its team members to compete in the Johnson-Riley Track Challenge in Walkertown, N.C. Saturday, May 26th. And those individuals put on a solid showing against a competitive field by scoring 50 points. Holden Perry led the way as he won the Bantam boys (9-10 years old)

1500-meter runs (the official time was not available), finished second in the 400 (with a time of 1:12.29), and fourth in the 800 (2:49.82). Chase Perry supported that effort with a pair of top five finishes. He was second in the Primary boys 800 (3:05.47) and fifth in the 400 (1:28.95).
Levi Temple turned in a third-place finish in the Primary boys shot put with a throw of 15 feet. Elijah Temple was sixth in the Youth boys (13-14 years old) 100 (13.15) and third in the long jump (15-feet, 9.75-inches).
The Tailwind Track & Field team travels to Wake Forest University for the Powerade State Games Saturday, June 9th.
